As a real estate agent, it is important to stay up to date on the infrastructure improvements in the areas you are selling. In this video, you'll learn about the latest news on the St. Armands Complete Street project, which aims to enhance pedestrian safety and create safe multimodal and transit accommodations for vehicles and pedestrians. The project has three options presented by city staff, ranging from a $45 million complete infrastructure rebuild to $15 million for streetscape improvements, or doing nothing at all. Some of the improvements include fiber connectivity, variable message signs, drainage upgrades, and enhanced pedestrian crossings. The project has been paused since February of this year, but there is still a need for community feedback. Both options will be publicly funded with no special assessments to residents and businesses on St. Armands Key. If you are interested in learning more about this project or providing input, there is an online survey available on the city of Sarasota website until May 5th. Watch the video to learn more about the St. Armands Complete Street project, its potential benefits for the community, and how you can provide your input. As a real estate agent, staying up to date on infrastructure improvements in the areas you sell is essential for success.
