The former Holiday Inn on Lido Key, a beloved landmark between Lido Beach and downtown Sarasota, is undergoing a significant transformation. Set to reopen this fall as Cirque St. Armands Beachside, this exciting renovation promises to blend the charm of 1920s art deco with whimsical circus touches, paying tribute to Sarasota's rich circus history.

A Landmark's New Identity

The renovation is managed by Lido Hotel LLC, part of Ocean Properties Hotels and Resorts, known for their luxurious Opal Collection. The reimagined Cirque St. Armands Beachside will feature opulent decor, including grandiose drapery, geometric patterns, ornate chandeliers, and more, creating a unique blend reminiscent of The Great Gatsby and Moulin Rouge.

Exciting New Amenities

Guests can look forward to several new dining experiences:

Ringside: A restaurant featuring bold flavors and Gulf seafood, with floor-to-ceiling windows and trapeze artist murals.

Ringmaster: A pool bar offering refreshing drinks in a vibrant atmosphere.

Midway: A lobby bar perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.

Luxurious Accommodations

Bookings are now available starting October 2nd, with rooms offering stunning bay and gulf views. Rates begin at $254 per night for a bay view, $322 per night for a gulf view, and $534 per night for the penthouse one-bedroom king suite.

A Part of the Opal Collection

Cirque St. Armands Beachside is one of three new additions to the Opal Collection along the Gulf Coast, joining Opal Sol in Clearwater Beach and Olde Naples Hotel in Naples, opening in 2025. This addition solidifies the Opal Collection's presence in the Sarasota area, which already includes Lido Beach Resort, The Resort at Longboat Key Club, and Zota Beach Resort.
